Project Overview

Real field execution, documented from the project folder.

At 121 N. LaSalle, the steel could not move like a normal rooftop project. DePasquale Steel helped set two new RTU equipment platforms on Chicago City Hall through a lift plan that combined helicopter picks, a 300-ton crane for heavier frames, and multiple weekend closures across seven blocks of Loop traffic.

The images on this page are scoped to Chicago City Hall Rooftop RTU Platforms, keeping the case study tied to the actual field conditions and finished work for this project.

Challenge & Execution

Sequenced in
the field.

Every project has a different site condition. DePasquale Steel plans the steel around access, staging, safety, and the work of other trades so the frame can move without slowing the rest of the job.
